I provide an overview of the multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) framework, focusing on the integration of Response to Intervention (RTI) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). I emphasize that approximately 80% of students respond to Tier 1 interventions, while 15% require Tier 2 supports, and about 5% need Tier 3 interventions, which are more intensive. I encourage you to reflect on how our school district can enhance its MTSS practices and how effectively I have coached educators on Tier 1 practices.
